With over a decade of experience in Interior Design and an extensive network with some of the industries best, Jessica created her eponymous studio in 2020. Based in North Vancouver, the JBD team serve clients across the Lower Mainland and North America.

Jessica was driven to pursue a career in interior design by a desire to foster inspiration in people’s lives through their connection to their homes.

She firmly believes that a beautiful, well-designed space affects how people feel and function, and uses this “psychology of space” in her approach to each and every project.

A natural creative, Jessica has gravitated to the arts her whole life and credits her natural talent in design to growing up in a construction-intensive family. Furthermore, she considers her experiences in travel as integral to her self-teaching. Jessica studied Interior Design at BCIT and has a background in Finance.

Jessica and her team specialize in quality designs that are beautifully functional and have developed long-standing relationships with trades and suppliers both locally and internationally. Jessica is proud to call Vancouver home and to work alongside so many other talented industry professionals who inspire her. She is also proud of her diverse portfolio, her work ethic, and of course her ride-or-die sidekick, her Yorkie pup Henry.

Stephanie loves the ‘people’ aspect of her JBD role and values cultivating meaningful relationships with her clients. Whether that’s through scrolling through photos of clients’ adorable fur babies or by crafting a finely tailored personal living space, it’s all part of what drives Stephanie’s passion.

Stephanie grew up in a team-centric environment and still values honing her skills off the clock by participating in sports like soccer. Her experience coordinating renovations and trades work hails all the way back to her youth, where she grew up amongst a family that appreciated hard work and home improvement endeavours.

Not one to shy away from the fast paced world of Interior Design, Stephanie moved onto multi-family design after graduating from BCIT and is now thrilled to join the JBD team and work exclusively in the private residential design market.

Emilia appreciates that every client has a unique story to tell and takes pride in helping shape each homeowner’s narrative through her role in their home’s design. She is passionate about unraveling each client’s aesthetic identity and promotes individual storytelling whenever she can in her work.

Emilia blended her love of dance and Polish heritage pride by studying Polish Folk Dance Choreography and earned a RAD teaching certificate in the discipline. During her teaching career, Emilia was introduced to the world of interior design and drew parallels between it and her technical teachings in ballet that would become foundational pillars of reference in her budding design career.

A graduate of BCIT, Emilia credits her journey and inspirations; namely sociology and history, for leading her to the path she walks with JBD today.

Henry is a beloved member of the JBD team. He is responsible for greeting our lovely clients and and the general maintenance of our office morale because who doesn't love a furry friend.
